Why I am running for Mayor?

I love Toronto. I love People of Toronto. Toronto is in my blood. Toronto is in my life. I grew up in Toronto.

We are in a crucial time in our city. In order to bring Toronto back on top, It is going to take fresh ideas and bold leadership to get us there.

After running for city councillor in the past, I am convinced that our city is made-up of the hardest working, most entrepreneurial people in the country.

Affordable Housing Demand, Poverty Rate, Homelessness, Inflation Rate and Mortgage Rate are increasing, and people are worried about their future. These are difficult times, but the light at the end of the tunnel is shining so brightly and a change in leadership at City Hall is exactly what Torontonians need to bring opportunity back to our city. The greatest city to work, live, play, raise family and run a business.

I ran for Mayor of Toronto in past elections. I made a promise to Torontonians that I will stand up for fiscal responsibility, transparency, and accountability. I promise Torontonians that I would stand up to an out of touch establishment (Three Stop Scarborough Subway and Sheppard Avenue Subway). My record shows that I’ve lived up to my word, even when it hasn’t been popular to do so. I’m consistently stood up for taxpayers, for small business owners and our industries.

I promise taxpayers that I’m willing to make personal sacrifices and that I’m not here for my own interests. I am here to work for you and make Toronto Best Place to run business, work, live, play, raise family, and build community.

Torontonians need a mayor who will stand up for them. A Mayor who will put needs before wants. A Mayor who will make difficult decisions and personal sacrifices to get our budget under control, our people back to work and to send a message that Toronto is open for business.

I have worked hard to earn the trust of Torontonians. For eight years I have listened to them, stood up for them, and strive first to make our city a better place for everyone.

Our city is ready for change. I’m running to be the next mayor of Toronto so that I can help everyone and unleash our city’s potential.
