Doing Business in Toronto:

COVID killed many businesses across Toronto. We will be Helping and Supporting Businesses by lowering the taxes, opening more business branches across Toronto so they can create more jobs and recover the economy in full.

Environment and Climate Change:

As a proud father and loving husband, I care deeply about the world my grandkids will grow up in. Climate change is one of the most pressing issues of our lifetime, and I am committed to doing everything I can at the city level to fight it by Investing more in electric buses for the TTC; Expanding Bike Share Toronto in the suburbs; Moving ahead with the TransformTO strategy to reach Net Zero by 2040; Planting more trees in your neighborhood and parks.

Improving Neighborhood Community:

Make each community Safe, Provide more dedicated funds to each community so they can help and improve their community in Mental Health and Youth Culture Learning Programs

Public Daycare:

Creating more affordable day care in each ward across Toronto with better programs and nutrition food for your kids

Multi-Cultural and Diversity:

Diversity is our strength. We will Release more funds for their culture celebration in the city and support them to enjoy their festivals across Toronto. It will also generate revenue for the local business.

Grow Toronto Economy:

We want to grow Toronto Economy. We want to ensure our city and its economy comes back stronger than ever by keeping property taxes below inflation; supporting small businesses; Growing our film, television and digital media industry; Attracting New Businesses across the world so they can start their businesses in our City and create more jobs for local Torontonians.

Toronto for Everyone:

Building new Infrastructure and Improving Public Services in Toronto for everyone and move Toronto forward where people can work, live, raise their family and run business.

Traffic Gridlocks:

We will be widening all the major roads and expanding the installation of Adaptive Traffic Light Control Technology to better synchronize lights throughout Toronto. Improving traffic light synchronization will reduce traffic congestion, improve productivity and reduce carbon emissions with fewer vehicles left idling.

Mental Health:

We will release more funds for each community so they can take care of mental health issues in their own community. COVID have created mental health issues for many people and they all need to recover and enjoy healthy life in the future.

Homelessness:

It is city’s biggest issues. People lost their jobs, no jobs, medical health issues, got kicked out from landlord, no money to rent apartments, etc. There will be more support for homeless people so they can have temporary place for living and move out from shelter with new jobs.

Affordable Housing:

Affordable Housing Demand, Poverty Rate, Inflation Rate and Mortgage Rate are increasing, and people are worried about their future. We will be Cutting red tape and speeding up approval times with a new Development and Growth Division; Expanding housing options by permitting more “Missing Middle” housing in neighbourhoods, in addition to allowing even greater density on major roads; Incentivizing the construction of purpose-built rental housing by reducing fees and charges; Enabling more co-op, supportive and affordable housing by allocating a portion of city owned land to be developed by non-profits; Making sure projects move forward through a “use it or lose it” policy for undeveloped land.

Investing in Toronto:

We will be attracting and brining more businesses to Toronto from across the world so they can run their business in Toronto, invest in Toronto, Create More local jobs such us Music and Movie Production House ( all multi-cultural Music/movie, Hollywood/Bollywood Movies), different industries

Creating Jobs:

We will be creating more jobs by building infrastructure, more small-mid-high rise affordable housing, building more subways/LRTs, Bike Lanes, Parkes and Recreation Centers, Improving Traffic Gridlocks, Business and Technology Integration across City

Traffic Lights:

One of my campaign promises is to improve traffic light synchronization in our city. If elected Mayor, I will push to fund and expand the installation of Adaptive Traffic Light Control Technology to better synchronize lights throughout Toronto. Improving traffic light synchronization will reduce traffic congestion, improve productivity and reduce carbon emissions with fewer vehicles left idling. This will directly benefit the majority of Torontonians who drive, carpool or take transit, as well as directly help our environment and our economy. Reducing driver frustration will make our roads safer and improve our quality of life so that you can spend more time with your family rather than being stuck in traffic. Synchronizing traffic lights is just one of the ways that City Hall can get back to basics and focus on improving essential services.

Building Subways/LRTs

We don’t have enough Subways and LRTs in Toronto City. We are spending hours and hours each day traveling across Toronto. We need better transit infrastructure. We will be improving our Public Transit by adding more busses and building more Subways and LRTs across the city (Including Sheppard Subway Extension) so we can lower the traffic congestions and improve environment, also we can have good health, save time in travelling, and spend more time with family members.

Parks and Recreational Center:

Our Toronto population is growing each year and we don’t have enough parks and creational center to fulfil public demand. We will be building more parks and Recreational Center for your community and family so you can raise your family in your community neighborhood.

Permits and Projects:

We need to improve application process in City Hall. We will be removing all the red tapes in the city hall so all the permits and projects application can be process or approve within few weeks.

Public Safety:

It is vital that we confront gun violence. Any instance is unacceptable and the pain it causes so many innocent people, families and neighborhoods must stop. We will be improving public safety by Expanding more dedicated funds for community and neighborhood policing as needed in certain ward across Toronto; Continue funding the City’s Police Budget and expand the Neighborhood Community Officer program; Continue fighting for stronger gun control1; Enforcement blitzes of nightclubs; Expanding non-police alternatives and officer accountability; Continue supporting the SafeTO program

Cutting Red Tape:

One of my campaign promises is to make doing business easier in this city. If elected Mayor, I will push for a red tape reduction policy to remove the roadblocks facing business owners so that we can get more Torontonians back to work. Every day, I hear from entrepreneurs who are frustrated by doing business in the city. Simple things like permit approvals often take months or years, instead of days or weeks. By reducing our city’s red tape burden, we will make Toronto more business friendly, increase citizen satisfaction and reduced the cost of interacting with city services. This will improve day-to-day life in Toronto, while incentivizing investment into our city to be able to get us back on top, where we belong. Torontonians are ready for change, and change starts with you now.

Building More Parks:

I am committed to making Toronto cleaner and greener by continuing to invest in our parks, and building more parks across Toronto. We will be creating great spaces for public art; Transforming the Etobicoke Greenway; Building a new landmark city park, downtown; Converting Toronto Island into Mini Golf Course and Public Park where Each people can walk, play and enjoy quality time with their family.

Seniors Golden Year:

We will be improving quality of Senior so they can enjoy their golden years by building more senior living spaces, dedicated health care support, walkable parks, healthy foods for each seniors, lowering the TTC Fair for all seniors so they can travel across Toronto with limited monthly money.

Strong Mayor for Everyone, Working for you and your future:

Toronto is Multicultural City. Diversity is Our Strength. We Need Strong Mayor who has New Vision, New Idea, New Direction and who can move Toronto Forward and make changes for People of Toronto. The mayor is meant to be working for Torontonians with city’s budget and tax dollars. It is our money to be spent on Essential Services, improving crime on the streets, traffic, public transit, Infrastructure, housing, to promote the city, vibrant economy, protect our environment and to invest in our youth. We need a mayor that speaks for us in times of crisis and celebration. We need a mayor that will fight against inequality and Social injustices. To make this city, affordable, livable, the best it can be. Sandeep Srivastava is the best choice as Mayor of Toronto who is working for everyone with new vision, new ideas, and new direction.

Taxes:

One of my campaign promises is to control taxes and city spending. If elected mayor, I will work with council to adopt a four-year tax freeze. Torontonians are overtaxed. Over the past ten years, the average residential tax bill has nearly doubled or tripled, with even larger increases being shouldered by local small business owners. Cumulative Residential Property Tax in Toronto is over Inflation Rate. Every year, Toronto City collects billions of dollars more than is needed to run the city. A Four-year tax freeze would throw a needed lifeline to local small business owners as well as everyday families, seniors and students are struggling to make ends meet. This is a realistic goal that offers Toronto taxpayers a much-needed break and can be achieved so long as Council prioritizes needs over wants. Torontonians are ready for change and change starts now.

Business and Technology Integration:

We will be investing more money in City Business and Technology. We will be integrating both business and technology across Toronto in Mesh Topology so each Torontonian have easy access to all the public services at any time across Toronto. We will be also protecting our operations and infrastructures from all the cyber-attacks. We will be building Toronto Smart City and moving forward with business and technology. We will be creating more jobs in Infrastructure and operations.

Supporting Youth Programs:

Kids and Youth are our future of our country. We need to prepare, educate and guide them while they are growing up so they can face the world in the future. If I elected mayor, I will help them to improve quality of their life by investing half of my mayor salary toward their future like running kids and youth clubs across Toronto and other services as they needed.

Economic Growth:

We have to focus on getting Torontonians back to work. Let’s Kickstart our economy by lowering taxes, eliminating red tape, and setting up our entrepreneurs for success. That is the only way to bring back jobs to this city. We need to show the world that Toronto is open for business, and more than that, we need to show our youth that they don’t have to leave the city to pursue their dreams.

Financial Responsibility:

The only way to deliver lower taxes is to get our budget under control. Our families, seniors, and students have all made tough decisions and it is time for City Hall to do the same. Now is the time to stop wasteful spending and to put needs before wants.

Better Core Services:

You deserve better value. While your taxes have skyrocketed, your services have fallen behind, even been cut. Affordable transit, well maintained infrastructure, efficient snow clearing and support for our police are absolutely critical. And we can deliver on all this if we spend our money wisely.

We Need Strong Mayor who can build Toronto for the 21st Century:

Other cities are embracing technology and innovation. We cannot be left behind. We need to build Smart City Toronto. We have what it takes, so let’s be bold and build for the future. Our grassroots team is so excited for change. Our vision is for City Hall to work for the People of Toronto. We are ready for a fresh start, new ideas and improved opportunities. And we can’t do it without you.
