Public Transit and Traffic Light

Hello Toronto,

My name is Sandeep SRIVASTAVA and I am asking to be your next Mayor. One of my campaign promises is to improve traffic light synchronization in our city. If elected Mayor, I will push to fund and expand the installation of Adaptive Traffic Light Control Technology to better synchronize lights throughout Toronto. Improving traffic light synchronization will reduce traffic congestion, improve productivity and reduce carbon emissions with fewer vehicles left idling. This will directly benefit the majority of Torontonians who drive, carpool or take transit, as well as directly help our environment and our economy. Reducing driver frustration will make our roads safer and improve our quality of life so that you can spend more time with your family rather than being stuck in traffic. Synchronizing traffic lights is just one of the ways that City Hall can get back to basics and focus on improving essential services. Torontonians are ready for change and change starts now. It is time to get people moving in the city. My name is Sandeep SRIVASTAVA and I am asking to be your next mayor.
